this series, posted weekly on Fridays, brings you poems, stories & art by a younger shannon. today’s is from ~1993, age ~24. around the time of my first (very short) marriage breaking up, and me finding a way to be on my own again. found quite a few poems from during that time period. life was very tumultuous, and not just for the obvious reasons.
Trickling and cascading Absorbing and damning In all ways it runs erosion complicating the tide. Emassing life pulls out Sand dries again As light lingers where once there was none.
